How to make it

  • Separate and tear slices of beef up and drop in frying pan with butter. Sprinkle on the flour. Cook slowly, stirring until slightly browned. Pour milk slowly into pan, stirring constantly. Add eggs, a dash of pepper and serve at once over toast or with a baked potato.

    My grandpa was a cook in the Navy during WWII and he had this same recipe in his old tin recipe box, great post! Thanks for sharing!
