How to make it

  • Blend the almond milk with the figs, cinnamon, and salt and then pour the mixture over the chia seeds. Stir the chia seeds with the mixture well. let it soak on the counter for at least 10 minutes until thickened, or cover and soak in the fridge overnight. Stir again before serving, and top with fresh fruit and another dash of cinnamon or spices.

    never tried almond milk, but I like silk. Can I use that instead, or regular 2% milk?

    You also might want to look into sweetening with amasake, which is just fermented rice. It's extrememly sweet!
