How to make it

  • preheat oven to 180c
  • Brown mince on a stove top
  • once browned, add onion and half of bolognese sauce
  • line bottom of the bowl in which the canelloni will be cooked in with 1/4 left over bolognese sauce
  • fill dried canelloni tubes with cooked mince - place each tube in bowl as evenly as possible
  • line top of canelloni with left over bolognese sauce
  • sprinkle with cheese
  • place in preheated oven for 20-25 mins, checking regularly (if it looks done, it is done).
  • break into 3-4 canelloni tubes for each serving, and enjoy!

    It has an OK flavor but I added three cups of marinara sauce to ensure there was enough liquid to get the canelloni cooked.

    I'm getting ready to make this come Sunday. Premade the bolognese sauce.
    Where does the canelloni get its water source from to cook? There is not enough in the bolognese sauce to get the job done.
