Low Cal Espresso Brownies

- 1 tsp. instant espresso coffee shopping list
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 3 tablespoons margarine shopping list
- 3/4 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 2 large egg whites shopping list
- water shopping list
- vegetable oil spray shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Spray an 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray
- In a mug, dissolve espresso with 1 tsp hot water, set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Sift well.
- In a saucepan on low heat, melt butter.
- Remove from heat and mix in sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, egg whites and espresso.
- Mix until well blended.
- Stir in flour mixture until blended. Do not over mix.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Bake 18-22 minutes
- cool for an hour
- cut into squares and serve
- 100 calories 2 grams fat per brownie
