How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Spray an 8x8 baking pan with cooking spray
  • In a mug, dissolve espresso with 1 tsp hot water, set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  • Sift well.
  • In a saucepan on low heat, melt butter.
  • Remove from heat and mix in sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, egg whites and espresso.
  • Mix until well blended.
  • Stir in flour mixture until blended. Do not over mix.
  • Pour batter into pan.
  • Bake 18-22 minutes
  • cool for an hour
  • cut into squares and serve
  • 100 calories 2 grams fat per brownie
