Chocolate Fudhe

- 4 oz. of unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 1 1/2 c. of milk shopping list
- 3 tbsp. of butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. of vanilla essence shopping list
- 4 c. of sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp. of light corn syrup shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. of salt shopping list
How to make it
- First you wan butter pan.
- Then take a pan over a low heat, melt the chocolate with the milk.
- Next add in the sugar, corn syrup and salt.
- Now you want to stir continuously until boiling.
- Reduce heat and continue to cook - without stirring - until mixture reaches 230* F on thermometer.
- Then you wan to remove from heat as soon as mixture has reached desired temperature.
- Next you need to add in the vanilla essence and the butter, but don't stir.
- Then you need to mixture to cool in saucepan until it reaches 110* F on your candy thermometer. (If you don't have a candy thermometer, cool mixture until it is lukewarm.).
- Now once this mixture reaches desired temperature, this will beat it unto a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to lose its gloss and starts to thicken (approximately 15 minutes).
- Now pour into pan.
- Then you will allow mixture to stand until cool and hard.
- Finally add the fudge out of the pan and onto a cutting board and cut into squares.
