How to make it

  • I like to cook my chicken IN chicken stock, for that added flavor, so boil your chicken however you choose, first. Then, crumble one sleeve of Ritz crackers in the bottom of a 2 to 2 1/2-quart casserole dish. Drizzle half of the melted butter over the crackers. Mix the cooked chicken with soup, cheese, sour cream, and broth (and optional onions). Pour over crackers. Crush the remaining sleeve of crackers over the chicken mixture. Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the crackers. Bake at 300° for 30 to 40 minutes, or until bubbling.
