How to make it

  • In a large pan bring broth and water to a boil then stir in barley and reduce heat.
  • Simmer covered on reduced heat for 45 minutes.
  • Combine salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and garlic together and let stand for 15 minutes.
  • When barley is cooked remove garlic from dressing.
  • Pour dressing over barley mixing well.
  • Add green pepper, onion, dill, parsley, celery, red pepper and radishes
  • Mix all ingredients together and serve hot or cold.
