How to make it

  • Sort and wash beans;place in large bowl. Cover with water to 2" above the beans;cover and lert stand 8 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 325'
  • Heat dutch oven over med-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add onion and pork to the pan,saute 5 m. Add beans,water,1/4 c syrup,mustard,salt and pepper sauce,bring to boil. Cover and bake for 2-1/2 hours or till beans are tender,stirring occasionally.
  • Uncover and bake an additional 30 mins or till mixture begins to thicken. Stir in remaining 1/4 c syrup.
