Frijoles Pintos Y Negros Borrachos

- 1 Tablespoon oil shopping list
- 1/2 onion, finely diced shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions, minced shopping list
- 2 Romas, chopped shopping list
- 1 14 oz can pintos, rinsed shopping list
- 1 14 oz can black beans, rinsed shopping list
- 1 jalapeno (minced) shopping list
- 1/2 bottle beer (or use 1/2 cup) shopping list
- 1/3 cup cilantro, chopped shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a roomy skillet or saucepan over fairly high heat. Add both onions and saute slightly. Add roma tomatoes, saute another minute. Add beans, chile, beer and cilantro, lower the heat, and simmer for 15-30 minutes. Season with salt.
