How to make it

  • preheat oven 350 degrees
  • slice squash into 1/4 inch slices and boil till tender
  • In a mixing bowl, add 1/2 of the stove top stuffing mix and the remainder of the ingredients and mix until well combined.
  • drain squash and add to mixing bowl. Stir until blended.
  • Pour into a square casserole dish and cover with the remainder of the stove top stuffing mix. Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 min. or until bubbling and golden brown.
  • Let stand for 5 to 10 min. Serve hot
  • (refrigerate left overs for up to 3 days.)

    A slightly fabulous combo. Don't do canned soups here but I have a great recipe for homemade cream of mushroom. Very nice recipe. RJ
