Halloween Cookies Recipe

This is a great treat during the fall season.

Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can of solid pack pumpkin
- 1 c. of chocolate chips
- 1 c. of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. of vanilla extract
- 4 c. of flour
- 2 c. of oats
- 2 tsp. of baking soda
- 2 tsp. of cinnamon
- 1 tsp. of salt
- 1 1/2 c. of margarine (or Crisco)
- 2 c. of brown sugar
Directions
- First you want to mix the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.
- Now you want to cream butter; gradually add sugars, beating til fluffy.
- Then add egg and vanilla; mix well.
- You can alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin, mixing well between additions.
- Now addin chocolate chips.
- For each of the cookies, drop upto 1/4 c of cookie dough onto lightly greased cookie sheet; shape into "pumpkin-shape" with spatula.
- Finally, bake at 350 degrees F for approx. 20-25 minutes.
