Ingredients

1 (16 oz) can of solid pack pumpkin

1 c. of chocolate chips

1 c. of sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. of vanilla extract

4 c. of flour

2 c. of oats

2 tsp. of baking soda

2 tsp. of cinnamon

1 tsp. of salt

1 1/2 c. of margarine (or Crisco)

2 c. of brown sugar

Directions

First you want to mix the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; set aside.

Now you want to cream butter; gradually add sugars, beating til fluffy.

Then add egg and vanilla; mix well.

You can alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin, mixing well between additions.

Now addin chocolate chips.

For each of the cookies, drop upto 1/4 c of cookie dough onto lightly greased cookie sheet; shape into "pumpkin-shape" with spatula.

Finally, bake at 350 degrees F for approx. 20-25 minutes.
