Bacon And Onion Muffins W/mustard Butter

- 1 1/3 Cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 TBSP baking powder shopping list
- 8 slices crisply cooked bacon shopping list
- 2 TBSP sauteed minced onion (in bacon drippings) shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 2 TBSP granulated sugar shopping list
- 3/4 Cup milk shopping list
- 1TBSP bacon drippings shopping list

- mustard Butter: shopping list
- 1/4 Cup butter shopping list
- 2 TBSP Cup prepared mustard shopping list
How to make it
- Cook on center rack in oven
- Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees
- lightly grease or line with paper baking cups twelve cup muffin pan
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt
- Add egg, and milk, mix until smooth.
- Add bacon, bacon drippings, and onion mix.
- Spoon batter into muffin tins (cups) filling each about 3/4 full.
- Bake 15-20 minutes or until they just start to turn brown (check with tooth pick if not sure they are done
- Server with mustard butter.

- Mustard Butter:
- In a small bowl mix together softened butter and mustard until smooth, refrigerate for about 30 minutes before serving.
