How to make it

  • Bring fish to room temp
  • Brush with the soy sauce on all sides
  • Brush with the sesame oil on all sides
  • Sprinkle lightly with salt on all sides
  • Press in sesame seeds on all side
  • Preheat grill to high - I use an infrared grill.
  • Oil the grill well
  • Grill on each side for no more than 1 minute - you want the outside sesame seeds to char slightly but the inside of the tuna to heat but remain red - you really can't under cook good tuna.
  • Let cook slightly and then slice
  • Serve with the avocado cream on the side
  • Avocado Cream

  • Place all the ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth. I serve it in a squeeze bottle. It is good on just about anything
