Peanut Butter Shell Topping (for Popsicles Or Ice Cream)

use this to top your homemade fudgesicles or ice cream cones. I guess it is maybe a copy cat magic shell topping except they have no Peanut butter magic shell. You can do this with other chips as well
Ingredients
- 1/3 c peanut butter morsels (chips) shopping list
- 1 tsp vegetable shortening shopping list
- OPTIONAL ADD ONS shopping list
- nuts shopping list
- candy sprinkles shopping list
How to make it
- Combine peanut butter morsels and shortening over hot not boiling water water. Stir until all the morsels are melted and mix is smooth.
- For popsicles:
- Spoon 1 teapsoon peanut butter mixture over top of popsicles allowing it to drip down the sides. Imediately sprinkle topping with 1 teaspoon chopped nuts, chocolate sprinkles, multicolored sprinkles or sprinkles for the season.
- For Ice Cream
- Pour 1/2 mixture over ice cream in a dish or 1/3 of mix over a ice cream cone and top with sprinkles or nuts.
