Aha… Honolulu San Francisco with good weather and palm trees. Did I say that already? (See Peanut Butter Chicken Kabobs recipe and Pot Roast Chicken) I am waxing nostalgic, trying to remember how to swim after wandering around Honolulu, bartering with the venders in the international market, finding the little out of the way places known only to the locals, luckily we had lots of friends there, I'm not sure if they kept me out of trouble or got me into it, probably kept me out of it.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boned, skinned chicken thighs shopping list
- marinade shopping list
- 1/3 Cup hoisin sauce shopping list
- 1/3 cup shoye(Hawaiian soy sauce) shopping list
- 2/3 brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup sherry shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 5 to 6 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 TBS ginger minced shopping list
How to make it
- Leave chicken overnight in marinade.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
