How to make it

  • Place chicken breasts side by side in a buttered casserole dish. Season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc. Pour the soup, undiluted over the top of the chicken. Sprinkle with the grated butter, cheese and stuffing. Drizzle the bourbon or brandy over the top.
  • Bake uncovered at 350F (180C) for about an hour and a half.
  • * No stuffing, make croutons by cutting bread into cubes, mix with olive oil, parmesan cheese, dash of garlic powder and Italian seasoning and bake on a sheet at 350F for about 10 minutes or until brown.

    This is absolutely delicious! Have made it twice now - both times to RAVE reviews! I halved the recipe both time and it worked out great. The second time I made it using Cream of Chicken w/Herb soup and kept the Bourbon at 3 oz <smile> and we liked it even better. This is a KEEPER!
