How to make it

  • Cook pasta according to the directions on the package. When water begins to boil add a palmful of salt to water to flavor pasta. Cook pasta until el dente ( 7 to 10 minutes).
  • Meanwhile, in another pan, melt the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic. Saute for 1 minute. Add the shrimp, 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and the pepper then saute until the shrimp have just turned pink, about 5 minutes, stirring often See Photo. Remove from the heat, add the parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice. Toss to combine.
  • When the pasta is done, drain and put it large dish then immediately add the shrimp and sauce, toss well, and serve.
