Pav Bhaji

- 6-8 pav bread shopping list
- 4 tsp oil shopping list
- 1 onion(finely chopped) shopping list
- 1/2 tomato(finely chopped) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste shopping list
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp garam masala shopping list
- 3 tsp pav bhaji masala shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon juice shopping list
- 1 tsp butter shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 2 potatoes shopping list
- 1/2 cup green peas shopping list
- vegetables(cut into small pieces): shopping list
- 1/2 cup carrot shopping list
- 1/2 cup beans shopping list
- 1/2 cup german turnip(Kohlrabi) shopping list
- 1/2 cup green pepper shopping list
- 1/2 cup cauliflower shopping list
- Pressure cook potatoes(cut into half), peas, vegetables,1 tsp salt with enough water in a cooker for 1 whistle./ or microwave the vegetables till it completely cooks. shopping list
- Separate the boiled vegetables from water. Save the water. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a pan, add onion, fry till golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste, saute for a minute, add tomato.
- Cover the pan and heat for 2 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, garam masala, pav bhaji masala, mix well.
- Add 2 tsp water and heat for 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile mash the cooked potato,peas and vegetables in a separate vessel. Add this to the pan and mix well.
- Heat it for about 2 minutes. Add the saved water till it looks like gravy.
- Now boil for 5 minutes.Add salt to taste.
- Turn off the stove. Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Serve hot with butter and pav.
