How to make it

  • Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Place over medium-low heat and cook, stirring often, for 1 1/2 hours. See Photo
  • Spoon into jars and either keep in the refrigerator or can in a water bath for 20 minutes.

    I would love to make this but what can I substitute for pineapple sage. That is a new one for me-have never heard of it before.
