- 2 whole chicken, cut up for stewing in 16 pieces shopping list
- 1 onion diced coarse Chopped shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves Minced Fine 2 celery stalks diced fine shopping list
- 2 Lg. Mandioca cut in 2 inch This is Yucca shopping list
- 5 medium potatoes Quartered shopping list
- 4 carrots shopping list
- 1 cup of Green Pitted olives shopping list
- Mrs. Dash Table Blend (0ptional….I like it) shopping list
- 2 Tbsp chicken base not Cubes) shopping list
- 1/4 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp granulated garlic shopping list
- 1/2 tsp saffron Powder shopping list
- Pinch of thyme, salt, pepper, 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1/8 cup olive oil shopping list
- cornstarch shopping list
How to make it
- Season Chicken with dry ingredients
- In a Medium Pot Add Olive Oil then add Seasoned Chicken and onions, celery and garlic, Bay Leaves, Thyme
- Cook until Chicken browned, when finished Browning add water to cover chicken, Add salt & pepper to Taste
- Add Chicken Base
- Add Mandioca first and on top of the Potatoes add Carrots
- Bring to a Boil, when boil is rapid; turn Flame down to low to simmer until tender.
- In a cup mix corn starch & Cold water until pasty add to Final stage of cooking.
- Serve with Jag....Will be adding Jag Recipe soon Sometimes with Dumplings can be added to pot. Takes 7-10 minutes or until dumplings are done
- For dumplings you can use readymade Biscuits cut in ¼ and season Dumplings with garlic Powder and Onion Powder Instant Chicken Herb
- add to pot, Makes the best Dumplings. Or just use Grand Biscuits
