Warm Reuben Spread
From essentialingredients 12 years agoIngredients
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup thousand island dressing shopping list
- 1/4 lb sliced deli corned beef, chopped (about 1 cup) shopping list
- 3/4 cup well-drained sauerkraut shopping list
- 8 oz swiss cheese (I used shredded, but you could also use chopped Swiss slices) shopping list
- crackers, toasted bread for serving shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix cream cheese and dressing in medium bowl.
- Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Spread into a 9-inch pie plate or small shallow baking dish.
- Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.
- Serve warm with crackers or toasted bread. I baked a loaf of french bread, then sliced thinly and toasted in the oven. It was perfect for spreading this dip onto - like a mini open-faced rueben. You could do the same with rye, marbled rye, sourdough - whatever.
