How to make it

  • Heat the oil in a wok/ whatever dish you normally use to saute stuff.
  • Season chicken with salt, sugar and pepper.
  • Add the chicken to the pan and stir-fry for 2 mins.
  • Add mushrooms, onions and garlic. Continue to cook for another 2-3 mins.
  • Add tamarind and water. Stir.
  • Add the remaining ingredients. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve with rice/noodles/congee.
