How to make it

  • I find I don't need egg or breadcrumbs for any binding and this is great for low carbers, dieters etc. no matter how you make your meatloaf.
  • Try it- it comes out fine or use your favorite recipe for egg and a binding for the recipe.
  • Mix the turkey meatloaf ingredients all together.
  • Shape into a 8 inch round
  • Now this step is optional:.brown the meatloaf in some olive oil in your pressure cooker ( or stove top )
  • If browning place browned meat on a greased trivet
  • if not browning, place meat into a 8 inch round greased cake pan
  • Add 2 cups of broth or water in bottom of the pressure cooker
  • Place meatloaf pan on trivet
  • Cover top of the meatloaf with some thin sliced tomatoes ( also onion if you wish )
  • Cook 15 minutes on high pressure
  • let steam dissipate naturally ( don't open exhaust valve )
  • Carefully remove meatloaf either with a wide spatula or lift out pan with tongs.
  • Place the meatloaf on a serving platter, cover with foil to keep warm
  • To make gravy, using the liquid in the pot, use the browning or heat function with top open-
  • or place liquid in a pot and use stove top
  • Stir in some instant flour ( 2-3 Tbs ) or as needed to make lump free gravy.
  • Season to taste with Gravy Master
  • Cook a few minutes for desired thickness
  • Note: Instant flour ( Example Wondra brand ) is used to make sauces and gravies.
  • Gravy master is a bottled product to season and color gravies
