Bison Blue Cheese Burgers

- 1lb Ground Bison Meat shopping list
- blue cheese Crumbles shopping list
- 1 yellow onion shopping list
- hamburger rolls (I used kaiser rolls) shopping list
- Veined Blue Cheddar Slices shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- butter shopping list
- (Assorted condiments/toppings, I used Mayo, mustard, arugula) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix Ground Bison with Blue Cheese Crumbles, Salt, and Pepper. Divide into 4 even sections and from patties.
- Cut onion in half, then slice (both halves) into 1/4 inch thick slices. Add butter to pan and caramelize the onions over med/low heat; approximately 10 minutes. Set aside.
- In separate pan (or on grill) cook Bison patties, flip, and add a slice of Veined Blue Cheddar to each patty, allow to slightly melt.
- Slightly toast rolls in oven or on grill. Spread desired condiments on rolls, place Bison patties on each roll, top with caramelized onions and arugula.
