How to make it

  • In med. sauce pan, melt butter over med. high heat.
  • Add flour and cook, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon for about 2 minutes, do not allow to brown.
  • While whisking constantly, add milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally until it comes to a soft boil.
  • reduce heat to med. low and continue to cook until the sauce has thickened about 8 minutes.
  • Can be stored in a reusable container for up to 5 days.
  • Enjoy !!!
