Slow Cooked Brisket

- Whole, untrimmed brisket - 10-12 lb. shopping list
- salt shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- seasoning salt shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse brisket in cold water, sprinkle all sides with salt, pepper and seasoning salt . Place fat side up in large roasting pan and cover with lid or cover pan with foil - sealing tightly. Place in a 200 degree oven for about 8-9 hours (depending on the weight). The idea is to cook teh meat low and slow! Brisket will be juicy and fall apart tender. Cut across the grain of the meat for nice slices. Serve with the au jus from the brisket or use the au jus to a make a delicious gravy.
