How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Make rice using 2 cups of beef stock
  • In a small bowl, rehydrate the onions with 1 cup of hot water. Allow to sit 15 minutes
  • Add ground beef to a large saute pan
  • When meat is partially browned, add onions and water
  • Allow this to cook until water has evaporated
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more
  • Add beans, worchestershire and red pepper flakes
  • Add salt and pepper to taste
  • Add 1 cup beef stock and gravy mix
  • Stir until thickened
  • Spray a glass baking dish with veggie spray
  • Add the rice and spread out evenly
  • Add the meat mixture and spread
  • Top with cheese
  • Bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese has melted
