Hemp Seed Pesto or Pesto with a Twist!

This was a recipe I put together when I was missing ingredients normally found in Pesto - I was nearly out of olive oil, no pine nuts - so with some creative substitutions I made something that frankly - I prefer over traditional Pesto. Ingredients
- 1 package of basil or more (about 1oz) (a cup somewhat packed is about right) shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan (I use Sartori and grate it fresh) shopping list
- 3 to 5 cloves of garlic (depending on size) shopping list
- 1/4 cup hemp oil (more if you're having a hard time processing it) shopping list
- 1/2 cup shelled hemp seeds shopping list
How to make it
- Process all in a blender or food processor.
- Use just like regular pesto.
- Enjoy!
