Mushroom Overload

- 1/2 cup straw mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup button mushrooms shopping list
- 1/2 cup shiitake mushrooms shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil shopping list
- 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon garlic, chopped shopping list
- 2 pieces bok choy shopping list
- 1 tablespoon onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons gin shopping list
- 1/2 cup chicken stock shopping list
- salt, pepper and sugar to taste shopping list
- 2 tablespoons corn starch dissolved in shopping list
- 2 tablespoons water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Wash the mushrooms and strain well. See Photo
- 2. Heat wok and saute 1 teaspoon garlic and bok choy in 1 tablespoon oil on high heat for a few seconds See Photo. Set aside.
- 3. In remaining oil, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant. Add the mushrooms.
- 4. Add oyster sauce and gin. Pour in chicken stock and let mixture boil. See Photo
- 5. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- 6. Thicken with cornstarch and water mixture.
