Piri-piri Sauce

I was making salt cod coquettes that called for piri-piri sauce as a condiment. After looking at many recipes, I corrupted one and came up with this. While I like "hot" hot sauce, this one came out with a nice bite but even my wife could stand the heat. Read more It was great on the coquettes and then great on a roast beef sandwich and then on some fried potatoes. It's going to be a mainstay in our frig. See less
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 T Sriraca sauce or chile paste with garlic (The Sriraca will be milder) shopping list
- 1/2 c olive oil or 1/2 canola oil shopping list
- 1/2 c fresh lemon juice shopping list
- 2 cloves minced or grated garlic shopping list
- 2 T chopped cilantro shopping list
- 2 T chopped flat leaf parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Place all the ingredients in jar that has a lid
- Screw down the lid and shake until well mixed
- Serve. Remix if it starts to separate.
