This is a dessert that everyone loves and you may think it's hard to make,however it is not. It's so easy you will make it all the time, especially to impress your dinner guest. Ingredients
- 1 pkg lady fingers shopping list
- 1 tub of mascarpone cream cheese shopping list
- ( this cheese is a bit expensive, but you need it for this recipe, you can find it at your dairy department in any grocery store) shopping list
- 4 eggs divided shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 cups of strong coffee shopping list
- ( you may use espresso coffee, which is the best, I just make regular coffee a bit stronger than usual and add a bit of Kahlua, or any coffee liquor} shopping list
- cocoa powder shopping list
How to make it
- Beat egg whites until stiff, set aside
- In a bowl mix the egg yolks and sugar, beat until it turns to cream
- add Mascarpone cheese until it is all blended
- fold in egg whites gently and set aside
- In a bowl big enough for the cookies to fit pour in the coffee
- to assemble the Tiramisu
- dip one cookie at a time and arrange at the bottom
- scoop the creamy mixture to cover the cookies
- add another layer of coffee soaked cookies on top of that
- then add the rest of the creamy mixture and cover with powder cocoa (put in a small sieve and bang it so it sprinkles on top of dessert.)
- cover and refrigerate at least an hour before serving)
