Raw Mole Sauce

- 3 tbsp cacao nibs shopping list
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds shopping list
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds shopping list
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp chia seed shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- Pinch salt (I like using pink Himalayan salt) shopping list
- 1/3 cup fresh cilantro leaves shopping list
- 2 tbsp dark raisins, soaked overnight and drained shopping list
- 1 large red pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, chopped shopping list
- 2 tsp raw agave nectar (or raw honey if not vegan) shopping list
How to make it
- In a coffee grinder, grind the cacao nibs, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, flaxseed, chia seed, oregano, cumin and salt until fine.
- In a blender (I tried a food processor but it doesn't work as well), combine the cilantro, raisins, red and jalapeño peppers and agave and puree well.
- Add the powdered mixture and puree well.
