blueberry Pie

- 5 c. of fresh blueberries shopping list
- 1 tbsp. of lemon juice shopping list
- 1 (15 oz) package of refrigerated pie crusts shopping list
- 1 c. of sugar shopping list
- 1/3 c. of all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. of salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. of ground cinnamon shopping list
- 2 tbsp. of butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 beaten large egg shopping list
How to make it
- First you wan tto stir berries with lemon juice; set this aside.
- Next FIT half of pastry in a pieplate according to package directions.
- Now you can COMBINE 1 c og sugar and next 3 ingredients; add to berries, stir well.
- Then Pour into pastry shell, and dot with butter.
- You wan yo UNFOLD the last pastry on a lightly floured surface; roll gently with rolling pin to remove creases in pastry.
- Now you can place pastry over filling; seal and crimp edges.
- Then cut slits in top of crust to allow steam to escape.
- Next rush top of pastry with beaten egg, and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar You want to bAKE at 400° approx. 35 minutes or until golden.
- Now cover edges with aluminum foil to prevent overbrowning, if necessary.
- Serve warm.
