Pear And Blueberry Crumble

- fruit Mix shopping list
- 3 cups fresh blueberries (or frozen, previously thawed) shopping list
- 2 William pears, peeled, cored and cubed shopping list
- juice and zest of half a lemon shopping list
- 4 tbsp sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp corn starch dissolved in 2 tbsp water shopping list
- Crumble shopping list
- 5 oz flour shopping list
- 3 oz rolled oats shopping list
- 3 oz margarine or butter shopping list
- 2 oz golden sugar shopping list
- (optional) 3 tbsp sliced almonds for extra crunch shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- Combine the fruit mix ingredients well and place them in a baking dish.
- Place the flour and oats in a bowl and mix well.
- Cut the margarine or butter into small cubes and add this to the oats and flour. Mix with your fingertips until it resembles an even crumb texture.
- Add the sugar and mix through.
- Cover the fruit with the crumble mixture.
- Bake for approximately 25 minutes until the crumble is golden.
- Let it cool for about 20 minutes before serving with a scoop of ice cream.
