Beer-braised Chicken Tacos

- Sauce: shopping list
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 large onion, finely chopped (1 cup) shopping list
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken shopping list
- 3/4 cup Mexican beer shopping list
- 1 tablespoon ground ancho chiles shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 can (10 oz) green or mild red enchilada sauce shopping list

- 8 taco shells (from 4.6-oz box), heated as directed on box shopping list
- 1 can (4 oz) chopped green chiles shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro shopping list
- 8 lime wedges (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- In a 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
- Add onion and chicken; cook about 1 minute or until onion is tender.
- Stir in remaining sauce ingredients.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat to low; cook uncovered about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon chicken mixture into taco shells; top with remaining ingredients.
