Melon On The Half Shell

- 1 large ripe cantaloupe or honeydew melon shopping list
- Optional: fresh mint garnish for garnish shopping list

How to make it
- Cut cantaloupe or honeydew melon in half
- Remove seeds
- Cut each half into uniform wedges
- Slice the fruit from each wedge to loosen the whole piece but keep it on the shell
- Then cut the pieces into sections ( see photo )
- Stick in a tooth pick ( frilly ones for a party ) into wedges if desired
- Garnish with fresh chopped mint that has been mixed with a little granulated sugar ( ripe melons should be already very sweet )
- Note: the toothpick can also spear fresh cubed pineapple, grapes,etc to the melon wedges
