How to make it

  • Make a crumb crust- I just butter a 9 inch spring form and sprinkle bottom and sides heavily with chocolate cookie crumbs
  • In a large bowl beat smooth the cream cheese and condensed milk
  • Fold in the cream or whipped topping, blending well
  • Fold in the crushed or powdered candy canes
  • Pour mixture into the crust lined 9 inch spring form pan
  • Garnish top of cake with cookies, crumbs etc.crushed candy canes etc
  • Chill very well- overnight is the best, the consistency is soft, smooth and creamy
  • When serving, return uncut pieces immediately back into the freezer
  • Note: I used my coffee grinder to powderize the candy canes in a powdered sugar consistency. However finely crushed candy canes will give a different texture to this dessert
