Blue Cheese Pesto Dill Sauce For Anything

- 1 large salmon fillet cut into 4- 6 pieces ( or use salmon steaks or other fish ) shopping list
- Pesto sauce: shopping list
- 1 bunch of fresh basil leaves ( stems removed ) shopping list
- 1/4 bunch of fresh fernleaf dill shopping list
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese shopping list
- 1/4 cup half and half or cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil to start- using more to make desired thickness and consistency shopping list
- 1 large clove of garlic shopping list
- salt and fresh black pepper as desired shopping list
How to make it
- Season salmon as desired
- Grill or broil fish as desired
- Meanwhile make sauce:
- In a blender or processor place remaining sauce ingredients
- Blend or process smooth, adding enough olive oil for desired consistency as well as more cheese and cream for desired taste.
- Season with salt and fresh cracked black pepper if desired
- Serve sauce atop or around fish
- Note: you will have extra sauce so save covered and chilled for another recipe!
