How to make it

  • Wash and slice cucumbers (spears or slices)
  • In a large saucepan, combine vinegar, water and salt. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Arrange jars on counter and dole out spices to each. Pack the cucumbers firmly into the jars.
  • Pour the brine into the jars, leaving approximately 1/2" space at top.
  • Tap jars gently on countertop to remove any air bubbles.
  • Apply lids and let jars cool. When they've cooled, place in refrigerator.
  • Let them sit for 48 hours before eating.

    Just made them; I added some mustard seeds, too. MUCH easier than the recipe I used to use, thanks! Will give a rating later this week after they've cured and I have eaten one. ;)
