How to make it

  • Sponge-cake

  • Whisk eggs and sugar at max speed until double in size.
  • Divide sifted flour into 3 parts and slowly mix in one part at the time.
  • Mix in the milk and oil,
  • Prepare a 20x26cm [7.9x10.2in] baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven [180C -356F] for 20 minutes. After 15 minutes check with a tooth stick, it may be ready. Let it cool in a baking tray.
  • Souffle

  • Pour water on gelatine and set aside.
  • Set aside 4 tbsp of orange juice.
  • Whip whipping cream with sugar until stiff.
  • Melt gelatine - but don't bring it to boiling!. Let it cool.
  • Pour orange juice and gelatine in the whiping cream and slowly mix.
  • Put it in a fridge for 15-20 minutes until it starts becoming stiffen.
  • Finishing

  • Water sponge-cake with 4 tbsp of orange juice. Don't take it out of the baking tray. Mix the cream a little bit and pour over the sponge-cake.
  • Put it in a fridge for 6-8 hours. Decorate if you wish.
