How to make it

  • Take a pan, add mutton, clove, turmeric powder, black pepper, cinnamon stick, green chili, salt, red chili powder, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, coriander power and 4 glass of water. Mix well and cook until mutton is done and ½ glass of water left. Another pan boils rice with bay leaf, salt and black cumin seeds.

  • In a bowl, add yogurt, kewra water, yellow food color, green cardamom powder, nutmeg, mace and garam masala power, mix well.
  • Method:
  • Take a pan, add ¼ cup of oil, then spread some boiled rice, then mutton, then lemon slices, soaked dry plums, fresh coriander, mint, tomato slice, green chili, yogurt, fried onion, ¼ cup of oil and boiled rice, then on top spread fried onion, cover and put on dum for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with raita and salad.

    this is almost like we make it in South Africa....but we dont use plums,i will try it
