Baby Artichokes Ham And Fettuccini

- about 9 fresh baby artichokes (see prepping video) shopping list
- lemon half in saucepan , add cooking water. boil just until tender. cool. (a fork into the bottom is the place to check tenderness) Quarter.set aside. shopping list
- 1 cup smoked ham, julienned shopping list
- 2 Table. chopped shallots shopping list
- 1 garlic clove chopped shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1 cup chicken stock shopping list
- pasta (rigatoni , linguini, large shells) prepped and kept hot. shopping list
- 1/4 cup parmesan shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons chopped green olives and shopping list
- 2 Tablespoons chopped black olives shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, melt the butter, and add the shallots, ham, and garlic; cook on medium high heat, stirring often until shallots are translucent and ham is a bit browned. Now add the stock and bring all to a boil.
- Add pasta and toss. add artichokes and heat them through. When everything is hot.--i had to put a lid on the dish to get the 'chokes hot and I added a bit more stock into the pan.-- ok, when it is perfectly heated, sprinkle the parmesan and olives, toss together and serve!
