Flavorful Apple Pie

Daugh
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 115g unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
Filling
- 5-6 apples shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 60g unsalted butter shopping list
- 2 tbsp honey shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2 tbsp milk shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder shopping list
How to make it
Daugh
- Mix flour and salt, add cold butter and make crumbs. Pour in the water to make a fine daugh. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the fridge.
Filling
- Peel the apple, take out the insides and cut into thin slices.
- Take a small pot, add sugar, butter, honey, salt, vanilla, flour, milk, cinnamon and nutmeg and heat on the fire until it starts boiling.
Put together
- Divide dough into 2 equal pieces.
- Roll a circle out of one piece and line it nicely into ~24cm diameter round baking tray. Add apples.
- Take another piece of the dough, roll a thin layer, cut into long pieces and make the grid on the top of the pie.
- Pour the mixture which you were boiling on the top, making sure than it also gets on the apples through the holes of the dough-grid.
- Bake in a preheated oven [190C - 374F] for ~35minutes.
- Let it cool.
