6-layer Dinner With A Latin Flavour

- a thick layer of sliced raw.potatoes (I left the skins on ) shopping list
- 1/3 cup raw rice shopping list
- 1 --11/2 pounds ground turkey shopping list
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning shopping list
- fresh ground pepper shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- a thick layer of sliced onions shopping list
- 3 big carrots, roughly chopped (food processor metal knife) shopping list
- 1 small can Herdez salsa verde 7 oz/198 gr. shopping list
- 1/2 cup chicken broth shopping list
How to make it
- Into a well-greased baking pan goes Layer # 1: the potatoes
- #2 Sprinkle the rice all over the potatoes --sprinkle salt and pepper over the potatoes
- #3 I used one pound of ground turkey in an 8 inch square pyrex pan Before I added the turkey, I sprinkled on liberally the poultry seasoning and ground pepper
- #4 I had a handful of chopped shallots, and 2 medium onions sliced
- #5 The chunky raw carrots
- #6 Combine the salsa verde with the broth
- Into preheated oven 350 degrees, lightly covered baking dish for 1 to 2 hrs.
