How to make it

  • Boil cranberries in the water until they pop open.
  • Add cranberry juice, orange juice. Put this mixture in a food mill and process.
  • Pour the puree back into a pot and over low heat add the jello and sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  • Pour this into a container and freeze. Take out of the freezer and let it thaw about 20-30 min before you are ready to serve. dip it out with an ice cream scoop into pretty dishes.

    Did you use Grandmother's hand-me-down, hand cranked ice cream scoop to dish out this country classic cranberry sherbert...Oh,those were the days :o)
