How to make it

  • First place the sugar and the water in small pan.
  • Let this come to a boil for approx. 3 min, letting sugar dissolve.
  • Then add in the Mapleine (extract) to taste (as dark as you want it).
  • you can store this in the refrigerator, but make sure to cover.
  • This recipe can be adapted to any syrup Just always double your sugar to water, ie 2 c. of sugar, 1 c. of water.

    This is good in a pinch, especially in baking!! Thanks for the recipe, I love this in my maple frosting when I can't afford the real stuff.
