How to make it

  • Shred lettuce and put in 4 quart shallow serving dish.
  • Top with green onions and water chestnuts.
  • Break apart frozen peas.
  • Spread mayonnaise evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle sugar, Parmesan cheese, salt, and garlic powder.
  • Cover and chill 24 hours.
  • Just before serving, sprinkle with bacon and egg.
  • Place tomato wedges around salad.
