Napa Cabbage Side Salad With Garlicky Dressing

- 1 small head of napa cabbage shopping list
- 3 to 5 cloves of garlic shopping list
- 1 T sugar shopping list
- 2 T lemon juice shopping list
- 2 T oil (something neutral in taste like canola or sunflower oil works best) shopping list
- 1/4 t salt shopping list
How to make it
- Wash cabbage and dry
- Slice bigger leaves lengthwise and then slice into slaw sized, thin pieces. Chop the rest into slaw sized pieces, set aside.
- Press garlic through a garlic press or chop very finely, put into small bowl.
- Add sugar and salt to garlic and grind to a smooth paste adding oil and lemon juice alternately.
- Toss the Napa Cabbage in the resulting dressing.
