Chicken Pecan Apple Salad - My Way

my chicken pecan apple salad -- a go to for us for left over chicken. Particularly AWESOME for our left over smoked chicken (recipe here) but any old chicken will do. Yummyy!
Ingredients
For the Sauce
- 1 T dry mustard shopping list
- 1 t water shopping list
- 1 t white wine or apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 T mayonaise (I have used Miracle Whip too in a pinch) shopping list
- pinch sugar shopping list
- 1 T honey shopping list
- 1 small clove garlic, grated shopping list
- 1/2 t horseradish sauce shopping list
- 1 T Tiger sauce (optional but awesome) shopping list
Everything else
- 4 c (approx.) chicken shopping list
- 1 stalk celery, diced shopping list
- 1 c apple - diced shopping list
- 2 T mayo shopping list
- 1/4 c dried currants or cherries (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 c toasted pecans shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- mix ingredients for sauce - set aside
- mix sauce, chicken, fruit and celery in bowl....if you salad needs to be wetter, gradually add from the 2 T of mayo until it suits you (I usually don't need to add the additional mayo)
- salt and pepper to taste
- EAT
