How to make it

  • Cook the rice and grains as package instructs until cooked and
  • brown rice and grains and lentils are tender and all water ( or broth ) is absorbed, about 45 minutes-1 hour.
  • Drain and let cool to warm
  • Blend in the chopped vegetables and garlic
  • Moisten with olive oil and vinegar to taste
  • Stir is some Dijon mustard to taste
  • Blend in the herbs of choice ( parsley, cilantro, etc )
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Serve warm or chilled.
